How to find us at the Squamish Spit from Whistler, Vancouver, Seattle
We want to make it as simple as possible for you to get to your kiteboarding lessons. Sea To Sky Kiteboarding is easy to travel to from anywhere in British Columbia or Washington State. Here are the directions from Whistler, Vancouver and Seattle.
Whistler is approximately 62 kms from the Spit and on a good day should take just under an hour.
Whistler to Squamish
Vancouver to the Spit is about 70 kms and should take 1 hour and 10 minutes on a good day. In the summer the Sea to Sky Highway is a popular route and can get congested at the weekends. The wind normally picks up around 11am so we recommend leaving the city early.
Vancouver to Squamish
Many of our regular clients travel up from Seattle, WA as they tell us it’s usually quicker to get to than Hood River. With the value of the dollar it makes sense to take a kiteboarding lesson with us.
It takes approximately 3.5 hours from Seattle at 185 kms. Why not make it a vacation and visit Whistler too?
Seattle to Squamish
Once you arrive at the turn off for the Spit it turns into a logging road. Take your time as you drive a long this road for the sake of your car and the environment. Once you get to the estuary you will begin to see angle parked cars and hopefully kites. Park up and walk down towards to water. You can’t miss Sea To Sky Kiteboarding, we are the big red bus.
